I’m an Authorised Marriage Celebrant based in Shepparton, and a lover of a good time. Every couple I marry gets a ceremony written from scratch, just for them.
I’m married myself, so I know what you need: someone who replies fast, keeps you in the loop and takes the legal stuff off your plate completely.
During your ceremony I don’t just speak to you, I speak to the room. My goal is for your favourite people to leave feeling warm, involved and buzzing for the rest of the night.

No templates and no rushing. I get to know you both, write a ceremony that sounds like you, and look after every detail on the day so you can soak it all in.
Your story, with the right mix of laughs and happy tears. I help with your vows, involve the people who matter (kids included), and bring a sound system so everyone hears every word. Rain, hail or shine.
I walk you through the paperwork, keep track of every deadline, and register your marriage after the day. You won’t have to chase a thing. Just turn up and say “I do”.

Sign your agreement and pay a $400 deposit. Then we lodge the legal form, which has to be in at least a month before the wedding.
We chat (coffee, phone or video, as often as you like), I write, you approve. Vow help included.

Limited dates Want me to stay on after the ceremony? Everything in The Ceremony, plus up to 6 hours as your reception MC: run sheet, introductions and speeches. Ask about availability when you enquire.

There’s one form (the Notice of Intended Marriage) that must be lodged with me at least one month and no more than 18 months before your wedding. I walk you through it, then sign and register your marriage with Births, Deaths & Marriages afterwards. You don’t have to chase anything.
Yes, you’ll sign a keepsake certificate on the day. For name changes you’ll need the legal certificate from Births, Deaths & Marriages. I can order it for you as an add-on so it’s one less job.
Most couples book 6–18 months out, and spring and autumn Saturdays go first. Short notice? Ask anyway, and remember the legal form needs to be in at least a month before.
We carry on with umbrellas and big smiles (I’ve done it!). Talk to your venue about a wet-weather spot, and I’ll adapt the ceremony on the day.
Occasionally. Ceremonies are my focus, but I take on a small number of MC bookings each year. If you’d love the same person from the ceremony through to the speeches, mention it when you enquire and I’ll check my availability.
I love an intimate wedding. Small ceremonies get the same custom script and care as big ones. Just after the legal bit? See Just the Legals.
I’m based in Shepparton and marry couples right across the Goulburn Valley, from Mooroopna, Kialla and Tatura to Nagambie, Euroa, Benalla, Kyabram, Echuca–Moama, Cobram and Yarrawonga, and at venues like Olivehouse, The Woolshed, Mitchelton, Trawool and The Sebel. Travel within the Goulburn Valley is included. Further afield is very doable; I’ll quote travel upfront.
I’m often asked this. Weddings are my focus, and funerals aren’t something I set out to advertise, but the more I’m asked, the more I feel called to help families through these deeply personal moments.
I want to be open with you: I haven’t yet conducted a funeral. I believe saying goodbye is just as sacred as saying “I do”, and it deserves the same storytelling, warmth and care. If you’re planning a farewell and feel my voice is what your loved one would have wanted, please reach out. I would love to look after you and your family.
